You don’t need to use WWHB for all entries, but at least try to include the WHAT and the BENEFIT as a minimum. Using the WWHB method, add entries to describe your experience and contributions within your role. It would be better to have fewer, well written and interesting entries, than lots of boring entries, which tell the reader nothing about you.
This project significantly reduced the associated risk of running out-of-support server operating systems and has improved the performance and stability of the applications running on them (BENEFITS).
Where it was not possible or practical, we re-platformed the legacy applications on to Windows 2016 virtual servers (HOW). Less shit example entry: As part of an initiative to introduce planned obsolescence (WHY), *company name* committed to decommissioning and replacing their Windows 2008R2 server estate (WHAT). They achieved this by replacing the services with a Software as a Service (SaaS) equivalent where possible. Shit example entry: I completed a server upgrade project and it saved the company £200,000. Using the Why, What, How, Benefits method that I created of describing your experience to make it interesting for a human to read, whilst also matching the necessary keywords for an ATS.
